The next race I’ll be running is the eRACE the Stigma 5K in Salisbury.
I wasn’t able to make it last year, but I still made a donation because I supported the cause. It’s a race for mental health, a type of event you don’t hear about too often, and it supports a local family in need. Mental health sometimes seems to be a misunderstood issue, and I commend my friends who are organizing the event.
The race is set for 9 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at Salisbury Bible Fellowship (not too far away from Salisbury University). There’s also a 1-mile walk.
It’s $25 to register now or $30 the day of the race, according to the website.
Learn more and register at the website and visit the Facebook page or Facebook event.
The following day, Sunday, May 15, I’m planning to do the Tacky Prom Free 5K Fun Run in St. Michaels. I still need to find the perfect dress and buy a bottle of sunscreen to donate!
