On Nov. 30 of last year, I ran my slowest marathon to-date. When I crossed the finish line of the Space Coast Marathon, I finished my 19th marathon in my 14th state, and while I wasn’t pleased with my time, I was still proud of another marathon finish. Finally, I explored some of the many trails at Patapsco Valley State Park

I’ve been wanting to run at Patapsco Valley State Park ever since I learned of the park, when some friends did the Patapsco Valley 50K many years ago. I tried to run there several years ago after a meeting in Columbia and the parking area I went to was full, and I needed to get home before traffic, and I missed out.
