Disclaimer: I am an ambassador for the St. Michaels Running Festival.

If you’ve been considering running the St. Michaels Running Festival Half Marathon, you don’t have much time left to decide!

The St. Michaels Running Festival is next Saturday, May 20, and you have until Monday, May 15, at 11:59 p.m. to register online.

As an ambassador for this race, I have a discount code that you can use to save $10 on half marathon registration: SMARCJ. Registration is available at www.runstm.com.

I took a half day at work for this coming Friday so I can head up to St. Michaels that afternoon with my friend Veronica. The race expo runs from 3:30-8:30 p.m. that day at St. Michaels High School, according to the website.

The race starts at 7 a.m. Saturday (the waves take off slightly later, but runners need to be at the start at that time). This is my first time running this race, and I’m excited to see the course and experience what the website says is the “Flattest, Fastest 13.1 in the Mid-Atlantic!”

St. Michaels is also a nice town — I’m actually headed there tomorrow for the Tacky Prom Free 5K Fun Run.

After a hot OCMD Island to Island Half Marathon, I am hoping for a cool, less humid day on Saturday. If it’s hot, I really don’t think I can give myself a goal time, but I would love to at least come in under 2:30 since I did not meet that when pacing in Ocean City.

Ready to register? Visit the St. Michaels Running Festival registration page here, and don’t forget to use my ambassador code to save $10: SMARCJ.

Hope to see you then! Feel free to introduce yourself if I don’t know you — I always enjoy meeting blog followers.
