My 14th Mike Sterling 10K — featuring perfect weather

For 14 years, I’ve started Labor Day Weekend with the Mike Sterling 10K in Crisfield. I had plans with family across the bridge later on Saturday, Aug. 30, but I didn’t want to miss this race. As the race neared and the weather forecast for the race, which had a 9:15 a.m. start, looked like it would be in the 70s, I was certainly worried, but I still tried to not give up before the race began. … More ‘Take your time’: A hot day for the Ocean City Running Festival Half Marathon
